In an half destroyed football stadium, 300 refugee families live in small converted “cottages” after being forced to leave their homeland during Sadam's regime. Asu lives with his mother and younger brother, who lost his leg in the mine field. Secretly in love with a beautiful young girl, Hilin, Asu schemes to cheer up his depressed brother and find a way to approach Hilin. Arranging a football game with Kurdish and Arab boys, he recruits a TV station to help buy uniforms and record the game. For the first time in many years, both Kurdish and Arab boys start to become friends…
